About Mundwerk
In the area of speech recognition, Mundwerk is one of the best known service
providers in Germany. Its core business is in the development and operation of a
speech dialogue platform and speech applications. Furthermore, Mundwerk AG
offers a rental or hosting model as opposed to the purchase of a speech dialogue
system. Hereby, companies using the system do not have to make any investment in
the hardware and software. Instead, a certain number of phone lines can be
rented on the speech dialogue platform operated by Mundwerk, depending on
customer requirements. Mundwerk also provides standard solutions, including: a
system for the acquisition of meter readings in the energy sector, information
systems in the insurance sector as well as customer service in publishing and
the public service sector. Furthermore, Mundwerk operates a professional sound
studio and supplies users and developers of speech dialogue systems with high
quality audio productions. Mundwerk works for T-Online, Viterra Energy Services,
U-Serv, Versicherungskammer Bayern, dit, Colgate and moneybookers.com, to name
but a few. The Berlin based company was founded in 2000 and belongs to the
EXCELSIS group since 2005.
