EXCELSIS goes for growth
Extensive investment shall facilitate organic growth to 10 million
Euro turnover in 2006.
Stuttgart, 12.12.2005. EXCELSIS, the speech portal and voice solutions
specialist based in Stuttgart, will start the new year with an extended
management team. Chula de Silva assumes responsibility of international sales as
"Director Sales" at EXCELSIS. Chula de Silva, who is co-founder of Insonic in
Zurich which was taken over in the summer of 2004 and has in the meantime been
integrated into the EXCELSIS Group, has led the business to a market leader
position in Switzerland through organic growth as well as through the
acquisition of Vocalify and shall now achieve this goal also
internationally.
Recently elected into the supervisory board of EXCELSIS Business Technology
was Ralf Schneeberg. Ralf Schneeberg works as project manager on international
projects and will represent the employees in the supervisory board. He succeeds
Prof. Dr. Schwille who has resigned from the board. Prof. Dr. Stephanie Teufel,
Director of the International Institute for Management in Technology in Fribourg
[Switzerland], takes over the deputy chair in the supervisory board.
Dr. Nils Herda moves into the supervisory board of Mundwerk in Berlin which
has been taken over this year. Dr. Nils Herda leads the consultation business at
EXCELSIS. As member of the supervisory board, he succeeds Dr. Marcus
Klosterberg, who leaves the business at the end of the year by mutual agreement
of management and the supervisory board after five successful years to take over
a new challenge as director of International SOS Emergency Services. Dr. Robert
Maus, chairman of the supervisory board thanked Dr. Klosterberg for his valuable
setup work both nationally and internationally.
With this management team, EXCELSIS continues to be positioned very soundly
for the coming year. "We want to extend our leading position in the market and
possess one of the best expert teams for this task" says Christian Sauter,
co-founder and member of the supervisory board at EXCELSIS, who set the annual
turnover benchmark across the group for 2006 at 10 million Euro.
