The Gas- und E-Werk Singen [gas works and power station of German city singen], GEWS is a service company providing servicing household, business and industrial as well as public sector clients. As a local energy provider, the company provides solutions, services and products in relation to electricity, natural gas and heat. Amongst others, GEWS has 38,000 electricity and 20,000 gas customers.

The GEWS is a wholly owned company of the Thüga Corporation, Munich. The Thüga Group comprises a large national network of over 120 local and regional energy suppliers at the core of which lies the Thüga Group. With over 20,000 employees, the Thüga Group supplies 5 million natural gas customers and 3 million electricity customers. International operations in neighbouring countries are being set-up and expanded with the focus currently on Italy and Poland. The Thüga Groups companies are active and forward-looking energy service providers who all work together closely.
