The Excelsis Integration Framework is an integral part of the Excelsis Voice Application Server. It allows for integrating backend systems flexibly via different standard connectors and to represent the business logic.

With the Excelsis Integration Framework, it is possible to separate the business logic from the voice application's actual dialog control based on VoiceXML. Together with the Excelsis Voice Application Server, this software architecture represents the classic 3-tier-model:
- Presentation layer (frontend): Realisation of the Voice User Interface based on dynamically generated VoiceXML.
-
Logical layer: Realisation of additional business logic, that is not covered by backend systems, and integration of backend systems via standard connectors.
-
Data layer: Central data storage of application data.
For connecting the backend systems, the Excelsis Integration Framework offers several standard connectors. Additional functionalities for monitoring, logging, analysing and configuration can be utilised via standardised system services. The procedures our customers use to retrieve backend data can be integrated, e.g. by SOAP/http. Access to central data bases used to store the data can be established via JDBC, for instance.
- Eclipse based development environment

- Based on Java/JEE
- Supports the dynamic generation of complex grammars
- Supports service oriented architectures (SOA)
- Offers numerous connectors for backend integrations
Here you will find established systems which we integrated with our framework. If you miss a connector for your system, please ask us:
